About Dr. Tiegs
Ashley Tiegs, M.D., joined the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine in the summer of 2020 after completing her fellowship training. Dr. Tiegs is passionate about helping create and complete families. A main goal of Dr. Tiegs is to heighten awareness of infertility as a relatively common condition, as well as provide options, hope, and results for patients seeking treatment.
Dr. Tiegs’ clinical interests include embryo culture and in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), male factor infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, third party reproduction, and fertility preservation.
Dr. Tiegs’ research in IVF and PGT-A (A Multi-Center, Prospective, Blinded, Non-Selection Study Evaluating the Predictive Value (PV) of an Aneuploid Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A) Diagnosis and Impact of Biopsy) has won national and international recognition: Dr. Tiegs received the Fertility and Sterility 2021 Investigator Achievement Award, the 2020 SRI President’s Presenter’s Award, and the ASRM 2019 Corporate Member Council In-Training Award for this landmark research. Dr. Tiegs has over 15 peer-reviewed publications on assisted reproductive technologies, embryology, and male and female infertility factors.
Dr. Tiegs grew up in Atlanta and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and kids. Her husband, Jake Tiegs, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Scottish Rite.
